Field Support Engineer— Southeast Division — Several Positions Available Apply
You will report to the Field Operations Manager and will be based at home, ideally South East/West London or North London.

You will be responsible for providing technical solutions for customers with breakdowns. You will also ensure the successful completion of planned maintenance and undertake any associated reporting. You will be able to participate in the call-out rota. You will also ensure the successful completion of small projects arising from systems support work.

You should have an HNC/HND in a related subject and 3 years experience within controls environment. You will demonstrate excellent communications skills and have experience of working in a customer-focused environment.

Project Surveyor: VSO 294 — Southern Division — Luton Apply
You will report to the Commercial Manager UK, and will be responsible for project surveying and contract administration for divisional projects. This will involve:
  • Providing quantity surveying support to the Project Managers on projects up to £5m
  • Reviewing client enquiry documents
  • Formalizing contracts with customers and sub-contractors
  • Preparing schedule of rates and variation management, pricing and monitoring
  • Preparation and issue of monthly billings and client cost reporting, and issue and agreement of final accounts.

You should have an HNC in Quantity/Building Surveying or similar, and 5 years experience in project surveying or contract administration preferably in BMS or Controls industry. You will demonstrate excellent communications skills and have experience of working in a customer-focused environment.

BMS Field Service Engineer: VSO 298 — Thomas More Square, London Apply
You will report to the Operations Manager, and will be responsible for providing technical solutions for breakdowns. You report to the Project Manager and be responsible for the effective engineering and implementation of project works, the successful candidate would take an active role in hardware/software engineering, commissioning and project management, particularly for projects based in Guernsey.

Effective communications are required to ensure complete customer satisfaction, seeking opportunities for improvement whenever possible.

Applicants should have knowledge of the BMS industry with an electrical/mechanical background and experience in commissioning. The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills, be self-motivated, flexible and committed with a quality-orientated approach to work. You must be willing and able to travel and work in Guernsey.
Surveyor, Manchester Royal Infirmary: VSO 303 — Manchester Apply
You will report to the Commercial Manager Northern, and will be responsible for project surveying and contract administration for MRI project. Project completion Feb 2009. This will involve:
  • Assisting in the negotiation of the GMP/NTE contract, prepare pricing schedules etc.
  • Developing good relationships with Bovis
  • Preparing schedule of rates and variation management, pricing and monitoring
  • Preparation and issue of monthly billings and client cost reporting, and issue and agreement of final accounts.
  • Where required, provide pre/post contract quantity surveying support for the Northern Division

You should have an HNC in Quantity/Building Surveying or similar, and 5 years experience in project surveying or contract administration preferably in BMS/Security/Fire/ or M&E industry. You will demonstrate excellent communications skills and have experience of working in a customer-focused environment.

Senior Project Engineer — Systems: VSO 321 — South Division— Lakenheath Apply
You will report to the Project Manager and be responsible for the effective engineering and implementation of project works, the successful candidate would take an active role in hardware/software engineering, commissioning and project management.
