Web-based system access not only reduces software support, upgrade costs, and employee training time, but provides
authorized users more convenient access to their building's important information. Web-based system access also means
facility management can be distributed to the people who are closest to the task at hand and allow them to do their jobs
from any location. Security guards can have easy access to locking and unlocking doors or enabling and disabling motion
detectors from their remote monitoring stations. Clean room, production, and lab engineers can monitor and adjust
environmental conditions themselves for critical processes
— right in these areas. The receptionist can make a quick
adjustment to the temperature in the front lobby.
