TAC
Training Classes Now Offering Continuing
Education Units (CEUs)
If you are planning to attend an upcoming TAC training class, our
Boston Learning Center has exciting news! Now along with top-notch product training, you'll walk away with valuable Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for each class you attend in our
North Andover, Massachusetts teaching facility or remote locations.
The Continuing Education Unit (CEU) is a nationally recognized unit of measurement for participation in non-credit continuing education programs. One CEU
is defined as 10 instructional hours in an
organized continuing education experience.
Students in a typical TAC 4-day, 26-hour training class will earn 2.6 CEUs, providing that they attend each day, participate in class, and successfully complete all course-related labs.
What are the Benefits of CEUs?
Whether you choose to earn CEUs for personal reasons or your profession requires you to, the benefits of earning them are numerous. CEUs provide:
- Recognition of individuals who have chosen to continue their education and keep themselves current in their chosen professions.
- Evidence of one's personal and vocational growth and the effort made to adjust to changing career demands.
- A standardized system to document continuing education experiences in meeting professional certification requirements and/or certification renewal.
- A record of preparation for a new career, whether because of personal preference or the pressure of technological obsolescence.
TAC is proud to be one of over 450 Authorized IACET Providers in this country. We received this distinction only after a rigorous application and audit process this spring.
